Silver Lake and Iowa Mine

Wonderful day with the Creeper Jeepers Gang hiking to the Silver Lake and Iowa Mines. The first part of the hike is steep with one section you must pull yourself up with a cable. Starting at 11,200 feet you end up at 12,300 feet in 1.5 miles. The hike to the Iowa Mine adds almost another mile. I've been up there a couple times and it has always been raining, hailing, and lightning so I never made it to the Iowa Mine before. I think several people have sore muscles today.
