Ophir Pass to Porphyry Gulch and Bullion King Lake

The Bremmers joined Gary and Lori Harris to drive over Ophir Pass from the west side, off of Hwy.145.
> On the Silverton side, three more jeeps, six others joined up (Reeves, Waldens, Curt Freeman and his friend, Erik). The group then drove up Porphyry Gulch to Bullion King Lake. Great day for some hiking, to take in the beautiful scenery and do a little fishing. Although, we’re afraid no actual catching of fish was involved. ☹️
> Dark clouds tried to move in and shorten the day but only threatened with rain. Some of the group took the shortcut from Porphyry Gulch to Black Bear Pass and drove to the top of the pass before proceeding back to Hwy. 550 to head home.
