Meet at PJ’s Market at 8: 30. Leave at 9:00. Run Arrastra Gulch road then hike to Silver Lake. 

This hike has a challenging section. Appropriate footwear and gloves will be required. Bring water and lunch. Plan on eating lunch at the lake and exploring the old town and mine ruins for a couple hours.

Be prepared for the weather conditions. This trail is above tree line and tops out at 12,000 feet elevation. 

Arrastra gulch road requires high clearance 4x4. GMRS radio will be preferred communications, though the trail leader has both CB and GMRS.
